Kids at Play - SOS 56

The challenge over at Shopping Our stash this week is STICKERS.  So I picked some white glittery chipboard sticker swirls and letters and sponged on some coordinating ink to change their color.  I also chose to add in some tiny type letters to 'round out' the title.

The fencing turned out to be my very favorite part!  I didn't have a cricut cart that would do it for me and then I found an idea shared on pinterest and decided to give it a try.  VOILA....perfect fencing!  Just cut two thin strips as long as you want your fence to be.  Then cut out shorter wider strips cut down to how tall you want your fence to be.  After snipping the tops off to a triangular shaped (I just eyeballed it and am perfectly happy with the results, but you could always measure down on the back a set amount on each), I glued them down over the top of the long strips 1/8 inch from each other.  I love how easy it was to get such a cool embellishment!  :)

  2. (1) You MADE that fence!?!?!? Whoa, that is SO great!
    (2) You colored the letters by sponging? All my coloring attempts have failed me except for paint.

That's a beautiful layout, too. :) Thanks for joining us at Shopping Our Stash!
