Our fearless leader gave the DT a big ol' challenge this week....SUNGLASSES! We could choose to work with bright colors that make us wanna pull out our shades or we could use sunglasses on our project even. I chose to go quite literal and incorporate actual sunglasses. My youngest has quite the collection of sunglasses (yes I know she's only 2, but if I get to have 16 pairs of flip flops, I won't begrudge her 6 pairs of shades LOL) and needed somewhere to store them.
I used a Maya Road tin that came filled with chipboard that's long been used up as the base. Add a little Helmar 450 and 'Surf Shop' by Reminisce paper/embellishment line (plus a few things from my stash) and voila..... sunglasses bin!!!
